The story of Excellerator begins in 1982 in Nîmes in the South of France
After a trip to New York, Raymond Bruno realised that skipping rope was not used as much in France as he had observed in that city
He saw the potential of this easy-to-use, inexpensive and portable health tool
The adventure began in his garage where he made his first skipping ropes entirely by hand.
The products, which were confidential until the beginning of the 90s, experienced a considerable boom with the increase in the practice of sports and the quest for well-being in the years that followed.
Excellerator gradually became a brand recognised for the quality of its products, and its skipping ropes were exported all over the world (Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Canada, Russia…)
Our motto « Simply Effective », guides us in the search for new products with an ambitious objective, a French manufacture and a minimal impact on our environment.
In keeping with this spirit, 5 years ago we created a new line of products « Natural Latex Elastic Band »
A family business, still independent, the brand is now based near Sète in the Hérault region of France.
